We can’t share embedded videos in our blogs or photo slideshows. When pasting and embed code for something it doesn’t appear in the blog entry. I sure hope they do something about that or I’ll blog elsewhere. I want to give the new owners a chance but not being able to do something as simple is that isn’t tolerable. I hate these blog entry forms with the pre-loaded HTML coding… I know it’s helpful to people who can’t do basic HTML, but for the rest of us who can do at least a few things it’s a pain in the ass. There should be a way to turn it off and do your own coding… switching from “Visual” to “HTML” doesn’t work.
One thing I DO like about the new JS is the ability to edit comments. You can even edit the comments left by others. Not that I’d ever do that except maybe to correct spelling or grammer mistakes (and probably not even then), but being able to edit your own comment is a good deal. I know you can do this in your own blog, but I haven’t noticed yet whether or not you can edit comments you leave in someone else’s blog.
